I have decided that I do not like how I was judging before. I am trying very hard to keep it fair and judge evenly without bias. So with that being said, I would like to have a "meeting" each time I hold a show to discuss judging and other things to improve the Association.

Here are the things I would like to address this meeting:

• Do you feel the scoring is fair?
• What do you feel we should focus on more when judging?
• What kind of prizes do you like to receive when you place top 3?
• I am looking for a 3rd person to help judge so we can get a better score on each horse. As of right now there are only 2 judges and I would like a 3rd opinion to even out our scores. I would much prefer someone who is available once every 2 months to judge the Arabian shows, the Stallion inspections, and the Hano. Inspections.

Here is what I was thinking the new score sheet would look like:

Head: (Structure, how well it fits the rest of the horse)
Neck:
Hindquarter:
Trot:
Canter:
Color:
Stamp on Offspring: (how much the foals look like the sire - for stallion inspections, this score will not go on in the normal Inspections)

I realize now that before I was judging like how I would judge a REAL horse.. LOL. Well, we can't change the horse's legs too much. There is a lot that we can't change since it is a video game so i decided to start judging based on what WE can produce.

I am not trying to sound mean or derogatory at all, just helpful criticism. But Arabians especially, it seems like everyone has their own version of what they should look like, and the breed ranges so widely that this should probably be taken into consideration! For example some people like the showier fine boned Arabians, while others prefer the traditional Arabians. Not to mention all the different sub types...goldolphin etc! :)Also having a class for photoshop entries and non edited helps morale I've found...even if it isn't judged by editing. It kind of seems to soothe players egos so they don't feel like they have no chance.

Great. Thank you for the feedback. I totally agree. I am looking for another team member so this doesn't happen. I like a mixture of the two. I want big bone & refined at the same time so my version may be different than yours, etc.

you could have classes for the two... like a traditional Arabian class and then a "flashy" Arabian class. I would join if you wanted me too... I can be active but I have mid terms coming up and I have been really inactive lately due to this. Also on the website you haven't updated the list of registered horses. I could do that for you if you want...
