Whenever I try to play Sims, when the game isn't paused, the game will freeze a lot.  The plumbobs still move and everything else, but nothing else moves.  Anyone have a way to fix it?

You could try running the game with lower graphics settings.

It's at the lowest possible. Lots of people are having this problem apparently. Well, at least it's playable. I may have to just go to splitting up my families and all.

Double click on the Sims3Pack and the game will do the rest=)
Place package files in your mods/packages folder=)

there are no sims3 packs ?
